In May the HPG were entrusted with the keys to the oldest theatre site in Wales, The Savoy Theatre in Monmouth. This wonderful building is still used for regular theatrical events and as a cinema.
A rare and magnificent building tucked away along a long winding street, the theatre portrays a rich and varied history and some rather interesting accounts of Paranormal activity. A building this rare, and luckily still in service due to a committed team of volunteers and workers, the Savoy really is a gem we urge all to visit.
As the team waited for the latest fim to finish and the audience to leave so that the investigation could begin, we all hoped this building would live up to expecations.
The team were startled to find activity kicked off within moments of arrival. Although some events may have alternative explanations, we found there were several that created more questions than answers Particularly from audible phenomena. What also makes it interesting is, that some of our accounts were, after the investigation, appeared to be mirrored events of what colleagues and other paranormal team GhostwatchersInc discovered when they investigated the property previously.
Joined on the HPG Investigation by team members, reserve members and a media and film guest from Winchester University, who will be filming and producing a documentary on the subject with the team as the focus of examination. We were provided with a night the team will hold as one of the best experiences this kind of investigation can offer, and so thankful to all who assisted.
Many thank to all who participated, and do pay this gem of a location a visit! (Click on the picutres below to expand)
