The HPG were invited by Haunted Hereford author David Phelps to join him with his Waterstone's literary lunch that took place at the Castle Hotel in Hereford. One of our leaders gave a brief talk and participated in the event and it appeared to be received very very well. We have now seen a copy of the book and we can highly recommend it. If you are looking for tales and legends associated with Herefordshire, written by a accomplished story teller, this would be ideal. Thank you David for inviting us and allowing us to participate in the day. We very much look forward to working with you again in the future.
September's investigation saw the Hereford Paranormal Group visiting a very historic site never before investigated. The premises themselves had had reports of apparitions and even one person communicating and receiving a response from a male ghost.
The location itself was the Ledbury Town Council offices, which included the infamous painted room. In many respects the HPG investigated what was once 3 separate buildings.
Much of the evidence and footage is currently being scrutinised but many of the team did appear to be reporting specific personal events throughout the night. We are also excited, as we hope we have captured evidence of a planchette/Gearometer moving without any physical intervention by the team. One of those many occasions we hope it has been caught on camera.
We would very much like to thank Ledbury's Town Clerk for trusting us with such historical buildings and for playing such an active and interested role throughout the night.
We are joining our friends and colleagues for a joint investigation in October - Team Prism. This will be the third time we have collaborated together and we cannot wait.
