The HPG were given the chance to collaborate once again with their colleagues and friends - Team Prism. The location was the infamous Station Hotel - Dudley. One of our team members actually slept alone in the alleged very haunted room 214. We are waiting to see if he found himself frequently disturbed by the reported poltergeist activity, or appearance of a grey lady, that is said to be associated with that particular room. The venue has many notorious paranormal stories associated with it. Perhaps the most famous tales come from the regular reports of a phantom young lady, belonging to the Victorian era, that is said to wander the building after being murdered in the vast cellars of the building. There were several reports of sensations and physical experiences on the night. Some were not easily explainable and some could have been considered as being linked with historic facts and previous reported experiences. Over the next week or so recorded data will be scrutinised to see if we can determine if there is anything unusual to report.
Working again alongside people who are just as enthusiastic to find that substantiated evidence of an afterlife was a true honour. We are so looking forward to working with Team Prism again in the future and other passionate teams. It really is fantastic to find people who are just as determined to prove is there anybody there?
Towards the end of September, we participated in another collaboration with a neighbouring team, (Ghost Watchers Inc) for a charity project to raise money for The National Autistic Society. The venue was the magnificent Clearwell Caves. There was a large public attendance estimated to raise well over £1000. Mediums Kris Price and Toni Hunt, who both knew of each other but had never worked together until this night, proved to be a perfect partnership. They worked together fantasticly well, and all had a great time. Notably some felt they had witnessed a full apparition! This may hopefully be verified on inspection of video footage. We all strive to capture evidence, and that is what this is all about, skeptic peg or total believer, we all work for the same goal and that is to learn from and share a subject that we are passionate about.
In October we find ourselves being invited to a local Herefordshire Health Centre and also conducting an investigation in an old school house.
Our location co-oridnator is booking investigations well into 2011, still proving that the county of Herefordshire has many stories and tales associated with the paranormal subject. It is still amazing to think that the HPG will be entering its 6th Year of investigating the paranormal for Herefordshire. We certainly will have to consider doing something very special on our 10th Birthday.
During the last few months of 2010, there is still so much in the way of paranormal exploration to get through, but we must say a huge thank you to all that have made this another vintage year with some stunning locations and experiences. The collaborations, support, trust from owners and managers of properties, media encouragement, enthusiasm and passion has all been boosted by the many friendships made. Thank you to everyone who has shared and contributed to our journey.
